From the (Portland) Oregonian:
Drug link to Canada now must shut door
The Oregon Board of Pharmacy took 10 minutes Friday to unanimously sign off on an agreement that shuts down a storefront business that has helped hundreds of seniors to get lower-cost prescription drugs from Canada.

At the business, meanwhile, the phone rang incessantly as angry customers called owners Glen and Diane Bremer to complain about losing a source that provided their medicines at savings of 50 percent to 80 percent of what they would have paid at pharmacies here.

From the Rockford (Ill.) Register Star:
Legislator uses Web site to help drug consumers
Minnesota and Wisconsin use official state Web sites to direct drug consumers to Canadian mail-order pharmacies.

On Friday, Rep. Jack Franks, D-Woodstock, said he intends to use his Web site to alert Illinoisans to the Minnesota service by providing a link to that state’s site.
