Fromt the Waterloo/Cedar Falls (Iowa) Courier:
Grassley crafting Canada drug bill
Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, confirmed this week he is working on legislation that would allow prescription drugs to be reimported into the United States.

"At this time, Sen. Grassley is working on a bill that would let Americans buy prescription drugs from Canada," spokesman Dustin Vande Hoef said. "He is discussing the proposal with a number of senators."

From the Quad City (Iowa) Times:
Purchasing prescription drugs from across the border grows in popularity
Internet entrepreneurs and small businesses, including one in the Quad-Cities, are making the same price breaks and convenience available by ordering prescriptions from Canada and Mexico for clients.

The internet sites and small business owners believe they are offering a service to customers, some who they say are making the difficult choice of whether to fill a prescription or pay the utilities.
